Installing a PCI Express Mini Card
You can install a PCI Express Full- Mini Card or a PCI Express Half- Mini Card in t he
Deskt op Board’s PCI Express Mini Card slot .
To install a Full-Mini Card, see Figure 9 and follow these st eps:
1. Observe t h e precaut ions in "Before You Begin" on page 23.
2. I nsert t he card into the PCI Express Mini Card connect or (Figure 9, A) at a slightly
upward angle.
3. Align t he card’s m ounting holes over t he board’s st eel m ounting post s ( Figure 9, B)
and att ach the card wit h t he supplied screw s.
To install a Half-Mini Card, follow t hese st eps:
1. Observe t h e precaut ions in "Before You Begin" on page 23.
2. I nstall the m ount ing post s in the m ounting holes as shown in Figure 9, C.
3. I nsert t he card into the PCI Express Mini Card connect or ( Figure 9, D) at a slightly
upward angle.
4. Align t he card’s m ounting holes over t he board’s steel m ount ing post s (Figure 9, E)
and at t ach t he card with t he supplied screw s.
