Installing an Intel
®
Z-U130 USB Solid-State
Drive or Compatible Device
An I ntel Z- U130 USB Solid- St at e Drive or com pat ible device can be installed on the
Deskt op Board by using the onboard USB 2.0 header shown in Figure 1, S. This
header provides support for t he solid-st ate drive.
To install an I ntel Z-U130 USB Solid- St at e Drive or com pat ible device on t he Deskt op
Board, follow these st eps:
1. Observe t h e precaut ions in "Before You Begin" on page 23.
2. Align t he connect or ( Figure 10, A) on t he bot t om of the solid st at e drive wit h t he
USB 2.0 header on t he Deskt op Board. The connect ors are k ey ed and will m at e
corr ect ly when t he solid st at e drive is orient ed as shown in Figure 10.
3. Secure the solid st at e drive t o the Desktop Board wit h t he provided screw
( Figure 10, B) .
