6. IP address, Subnet mask, Default gateway: Enter the static IP address, subnet mask and default
gateway you set for your computer, which is 192.168.0.10, 255.255.255.0 and 192.168.0.1
respectively in this example, and click OK.
Default gateway is the LAN IP address of the upstream device through which your computer can access the
internet, such as the router to which your computer is connected.
Verification
Configuration succeeds. You can check whether your configuration is successful on the Network
Connection Details page. Procedures are as follows:
1. Right-click in the lower-right corner of the desktop and choose Open Network and Sharing
Center.
