A configuration file called as APCfm.cfg will be downloaded.
Restoring previous configuration
1. Click Tools > Configuration > Backup & Restore.
2. Click Choose File and select the configuration file to be restored.
3. Click Restore.
4. Click OK.

A progress bar will appear after you click OK. And the AP is restored to previous
configuration after the progress bar ends.
10.4.2 Resetting the AP
If you cannot locate a fault of the AP or forget the login password of the AP, you can reset
the AP to restore its factory settings and then configure it again. The AP can be reset using
web UI or hardware.
After you reset the AP, the login IP address of the AP is changed to 192.168.0.254, and the
user name and password of the AP are changed to admin.
- AP’s configuration is lost if you restore it to the factory settings. And you need to
reconfigure the AP to connect to the internet. Therefore, restore the factory settings of
the AP only when necessary.
