2. INSPECTION & REPLACEMENT OF BLADES
a. Apply the parking brakes.
CAUTION: Be sure to apply the parking
brakes securely.
b Start the engine and turn the throttle lever to the low
speed position to decelerate the engine.
c. Shift the mower lift lever to the UP position and
raise the mower deck to the highest position.
d. Stop the engine.
e. Set the cutting height at lowest position.
f. Lower the mower deck onto the ground.
g. Remove the lift rod linkage of mower deck by pull
out the pin.
h. Lift up front side of mower deck for flipping up.
CAUTION: When turning the mower deck,
take care not to allow it to hit your feet.
i. Lock the mower deck by inserting the pin into the
hole in the lift arm.
j. Check the mower blades for deformation and
damage.
・Inspection of blades and phase position LH & RH.
(1) Blade (LH) (2) Blade (RH)
a. Check the blade LH(1) and blade RH(2) are at right
angles to each other.
b. When these blades are not at right angles to each
other, straighten them by following ways.
