Gateways and Firewalls
iSTAR Edge G2 configurations provide access to remote C•CURE systems across firewalls and Network Address
Translators. This is because the master controller automatically accepts a translated IP address if one is assigned from a
remote host, or from an attached Network Address Translator.
The TCP/IP ports, listed in ,must be open and unblocked by any firewall. For more information on TCP/IP ports, check the
C•CURE 9000/iSTAR Ports Assignment Document available on the Software House website.
