Chapter 9 - Diagnostics
Diagnostic Tests
iSTAR Edge G2 firmware provides diagnostic information for:
• Readers
• Cards
• Outputs
• Inputs
• Ethernet port
Use the rotary switch SW1 to activate diagnostic tests. Table 24 describes the action of each SW1 switch position. Diagnostic
information displays on the iSTAR Edge G2 LCD display.
NOTE
Diagnostic tests add overhead to iSTAR Edge G2 processing, and may degrade system performance.
When the diagnostic tests are complete, deactivate the test by resetting SW1 to display status information.
