Chapter 7 - Using the iSTAR Configuration Utility
Overview
Use the iSTAR Configuration Utility (ICU) for initial panel discovery on the same subnet.
NOTE
Use the iSTAR Web Page to configure, diagnose, and troubleshoot the iSTAR Edge G2. For more information, see Chapter 8: iSTAR
Web Page.
For detailed information on how to use the ICU, see the iSTAR Configuration Utility User Guide available on
www.swhouse.com or on the C•CURE installation media.
The ICU is included on C•CURE server and client installations in the following location:
• Program Files\Software House\SWSystemCrossFire\Server Components\iSTAR \ICU
If the ICU is not on a client or server, use the latest ICU installer to install the ICU on the PC.
ICU folder contents
The ICU folder contains the following items:
• ICU.exe - the executable file that runs the ICU.
• iSTARDiagConnection.dll - Dynamic link library to establish connections.
• icu.chm - the help file for the ICU.
• ICU release note and user guide.
