01 Getting started
An introduction to EVENT-X
Congratulations on purchasing KETRON EVENT-X. Now you can access outstanding sound
quality to deliver your best and most authentic performance yet. This user manual explains
each function of this instrument in detail. Please read it carefully, at least the parts that
interest you the most, to get the best performance from EVENT-X in live sessions, recording
studios, or in any other context you want to use this musical instrument.
EVENT-X contains all the sonic power included in the EVENT family by KETRON, including
the innovative arranger functionalities. Starting with the REAL STYLES, which are the result
of extraordinary technological innovation that KETRON has specifically designed and
developed to allow musicians to express their musical performances with the highest level of
realism. While preserving the ability to interact with MIDI, with EVENT-X it is possible to be
accompanied by a multitrack arrangement under total audio control. In the past, KETRON
was known for LIVE DRUMS and LIVE GUITARS, now almost the entire arrangement can be
expressed in audio format, with the addition of cutting-edge tracks like REAL BASS and
REAL CHORD that complete the circle and make the EVENT product family unique and
exclusive arrangers.
You will also be able to create your REAL STYLES in full audio format, thanks to the
extensions introduced in the new Live Modeling feature.
REAL SOLOS voices help enhance your solo parts: they sound exactly as they were played,
and the sound decay fades out gradually and naturally. Try it yourself. ‘Hearing’ is believing.
