Releasing Module
Summary
The REL is an analog addressable device that communicates directly with the fire alarm
panel’s Signature loop controller. The REL controls sprinkler, pre-action, and deluge systems,
and may also be used to release extinguishing agents, such as CO2, Halon, or foam. The REL
offers a wide range of options that ensures dependable service while preventing the
unnecessary release of extinguishing agents.
For information about installing your REL module, see the REL Technical Reference Manual
(P/N 387515-EN) that came with your REL module. For information about adding a REL to
your project and correlating your REL, see the CU Help.
