The height of the amplitude signies loud-
ness, frequency signies pitch.
The  information
(DOLBY SR·D) is encoded between the
perforations.
The  information is en-
coded between the picture and the analog
sound track.
The  information is encoded on the
edges of the lm.
 
The magnetic sound device reads the
magnetic track on the 70 mm lm.

Optionally a DTS (see gure) or SDDS
reader can be used to scan the corre-
sponding sound track on the lm.
The readers will be fastened with special
holders on the projector.





