Upgrading the Firmware Using the Internal Memory
[1] Obtain the firmware “KP850nnn.fw” from the https://partner.kodak.com/ Web site.
[2] Make a copy of the “KP850nnn.fw” file.
[3] Remove the MEMORY CARD from the CAMERA.
[4] Connect a USB CABLE to:
• CAMERA
• computer
[5] Energize the CAMERA.
[6] On the “EasyShare Transfer” window, click [Cancel].
[7] Select:
•“KP850nnn.FW” file
• Edit>Copy
[8] Double-click:
•“My Computer” icon
•“P850 Camera” icon
•“Internal Memory” folder
[9] Select:
• firmware file in the “Internal Memory” folder
• Edit>Paste
[10] De-energize the CAMERA.
[11] Disconnect the USB CABLE from:
• CAMERA
• computer
[12] Energize the CAMERA.
[13] Do the steps that display on the MONITOR LCD using the JOYSTICK to select:
•“Upgrade”
•“Continue”
Note
The upgrading of the firmware file completes in less than 2 minutes.
[14] Select “Exit”.
[15] De-energize the CAMERA.
[16] Energize the CAMERA.
[17] Check that the firmware on the CAMERA is the correct version.
