Section 6: Additional Service Procedures
Installing the SERVICE SOFTWARE
[1] Which version of the Microsoft Windows OPERATING SYSTEM are you using?
[2] Which version of the Kodak EasyShare SOFTWARE are you using?
[3] From the Kodak Partner Site, make a copy of the .zip file of the “Software and Firmware” for the CAMERA.
[4] Decompress 3 files from the .zip file.
•“DscCalDi.exe”
•“camapi32.dll”
•“PTPApi32.dll”
[5] Make a folder on your HARD DRIVE for the software.
[6] Place the 3 files into the folder.
Connecting to the SERVICE SOFTWARE
[1] Connect to the SERVICE SOFTWARE.
[2] Check:
•“Transfer” window displays
• green LED at the “ON” SWITCH of the CAMERA illuminates
Windows 98, ME, 2000 Windows XP
a. Install the Kodak EasyShare SOFTWARE.
b. Advance to Step 3

a. Install the Kodak EasyShare SOFTWARE.
b. Continue with Step 3
.
a. Select the “Custom” installation.
b. Load only the connection DRIVERS for the
CAMERA.
c. Continue with Step 3

To connect without the CAMERA DOCK To connect with the CAMERA DOCK
1. Connect:
• USB CABLE between the CAMERA
and the computer
• 5 V AC ADAPTER to the CAMERA
2. Energize the CAMERA.
1. Connect:
• USB CABLE between the CAMERA DOCK and the
computer
• 5 V AC ADAPTER to the CAMERA DOCK
2. Place the CAMERA on the CAMERA DOCK.
3. Energize the CAMERA.
4. Press the TRANSFER BUTTON on the CAMERA DOCK.
