Troubleshooting
The unit does not power on.
• Makesurethebatteriesareinsertedwiththepolarities(+,‐)inthecor‐
rectorientation.
•Thebatteriesmaybeexhausted.
• MakesurethattheACadapterisconnectedcorrectly.
The unit turns off unexpectedly.
•TheAutoPowerOffparameterissettooneoftheminuteoptions(see
page45).
The LCD display is dark.
•Thebacklightmayhavebeensettoturnoff(s

The LED indicators do not light up or flash.
•TheLEDparameterissettoOFF.Consequently,theLEDindicators
willnotlightuporflash(seepage44).
The recorder is not responsive to button operation.
•Holdmodemayhavebeenturnedon(seepage10).
The recorder responds to the touch slider operation incorrectly.

No sound is heard.
• Makesurethatallconnecteddevicesareturnedon.
• Makesurethattheamplifierorheadphonesareconnectedcorrectly.
The volume level on the device that’s connected to the GUITAR IN or
MIC jack seems too low.

No playback sound is heard.

No sound is emitted from the internal speaker.
