User Authentication and Accounting (User Login, Job Accounting) > Setting User Login Administration
Obtain NW User Property
Set the required information to obtain the network user property from the LDAP server.

Display the screen.
1 [Menu] key > [ ] [ ] key > [User/Job Account] > [OK] key
2 [ ] [ ] key > [User Login Set.] > [OK] key > [ ] [ ] key > [NW User Property] > [OK] key

Configure the settings.
The setting items are as follows.

Select [OK] key.
NOTE
â€ĸ This setting only appears when the "Login Type" of "User Login" is set to [Netwk Authentic.] and the "Server
Type" is set to [NTLM] or [Kerberos].

â€ĸ Select [On] for [LDAP] in [Protocol Settings].

NOTE
If the User Authentication screen appears, log in with a user who has the privilege to configure this
setting. If you do not know your login User Name or Password, please contact your Administrator.
Item Descriptions
Off/On Set whether or not network user information is acquired.
Value: Off, On
Authenticat Type

*1 Appears when the server type is set to "Kerberos" in "Netwk Auth. Set.".
Set the authentication method.
Value: Simple, SASL
