4. Supervisor mode. The parallel interface is waiting for the firmware data.
5. Receiving the firmware data.
6. The system DIMM or flash ROM is overwritten with the new firmware data.
7. Firmware downloading is finished. (When more than one data are down loaded, the data display can be changed by
pressing any key.)
8. Turn power switch off and on.
9. Check the that printer gets Ready.
Confirm that the status page shows the new engine firmware, system firmware or operator panel message data version
(See page 1-4-2). If the message display indicates download error, refer to section "Downloading errors" on page 1-7-7.
