(2) Main charger/drum section
Main charger unit consists of the main charger shield, main charger wire, grid and wire cleaner, and electrostatically
charges the drum surface uniformly to prepare for the formation of electrostatic latent images by the irradiation of laser
light. The grid acts so that the drum surface voltage is constant.
