Expanded Normal Procedures
Arming Button (without displacing switch) . . . . . . DEPRESS
Ensure trim motion does not occur.
Copilot Control Wheel Trim Switch . . . . . . . . . . . . OPERATE
While depressing arming button, move switch NOSE UP,
NOSE DN, LWD, and RWD. Ensure trim motion occurs in all
directions.
Copilot Control Wheel Trim Switch . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .TRIM
Pilot Control Wheel Trim Switch . . . . . . . . . TRIM OPPOSITE
Ensure pilot’s trim overrides copilot’s trim. Repeat for each
trim position.
Pilot Control Wheel Trim Switch . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . NOSE UP
Pilot MSW . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .DEPRESS AND HOLD
Trim motion should cease while MSW is held.
Pilot Control Wheel Trim Switch . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .NOSE DN
Pilot MSW . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .DEPRESS AND HOLD
Trim motion should cease while MSW is held.

Ensure amber T.O. TRIM annunciator not illuminated.
On S/Ns 35-146 and subsequent; 36-046 and subsequent;
prior aircraft with AAK 83-8, determine Stabilizer Trim Set-
ting.
