Field Option Description
E : Editable eld Easting of the point of intersection.
N : Editable eld Northing of the point of intersection.
Radius: Editable eld Curvature radius of the circular curve corres-
ponding to the point of intersection. The
curvature radius at the end must be input as
0.
Positive when right along the forward direc-
tion of the alignment.
Negative when turning left along the forward
direction of the alignment.
A1: Editable eld The parameter A dening the spiral at the
beginning.
Positive when the spiral is turning right along
the forward direction of the alignment.
Negative when the spiral is turning left along
the forward direction of the alignment.
A2: Editable eld The parameter A dening the spiral at the
end.
Positive when the spiral is turning right along
the forward direction of the alignment.
Negative when the spiral is turning left along
the forward direction of the alignment.
The vertical alignment consists of a set of intersecting points, including chain-
age, height, and length of an element.
