8.3 Shorten a Twin Tube
1. Take the milking robot out of operation with the X-link (page 6-5).
2. Move the Robot Arm to the Service Position.
3. Select:

Straight]

Loose]

Loose]

Loose]
4. Use the special tool to release the clamps on the applicable twin tube.
5. Cut off the damaged part of the twin tube.
6. Make sure the shortened twin tube has sufficient freedom of movement.
7. If the there is not sufficient freedom of movement, replace the twin tube. Refer to Replace a Twin Tube
(page 8-1).
8. Connect the twin tube to the milk collector.
9. Hold the teat cup, and with one finger in the liner make sure the teat cup does not turn.
10. If necessary, turn the twin tubes to align the teat cup.
11. Fully tighten the clamps.
12. Select:

Move to home position].
13. Put the milking robot in operation with the X-link (page 6-3).
14. Start a Short Rinse (X-link) (page 6-15).
