8.2 Replace a Twin Tube
1. Take the milking robot out of operation with the X-link (page 6-5).
2. Move the Robot Arm to the Service Position.
3. Select:

4. Remove the locking pin (1).
5. Remove the between cover.
6. Remove the screw (1) and the locking pin (2).
7. Loosen the bolts (3) and (4) until the mothership cover can move easily.
8. Carefully move the mothership cover away from the teat cups and the mothership. Make sure the TDS
cable does not get tight or damaged.
9. Carefully put the mothership cover on the ground next to the mothership.
10. Use the special tool to release the clamps on the applicable twin tube.
11. Disconnect the twin tube from the milk collector and the 4effect.
12. Remove the twin tube from the area.
13. Carefully put the new twin tube in the correct position in the mothership.
14. Connect the twin tube to the 4effect.
15. Make sure the shortened twin tube has sufficient freedom of movement.
16. Connect the twin tube to the mothership and the milk collector.
17. Hold the teat cup, and with one finger in the liner make sure the teat cup does not turn.
18. If necessary, turn the twin tubes to align the teat cup.
19. Fully tighten the clamps.
