7.12 Examine the Twin Tubes
1. Take the milking robot out of operation with the X-link (page 6-5).
2. Move the Robot Arm to the Service Position.
3. Select:
- Tab [
Test]
- [Mothership]
- [Cups].
4. In the field Tilt cups, select:
- LF [
Straight]
- LR [
Straight]
- RF [
Straight]
- RR [
Straight].
5. In the field Cord cups, select:
- LF [
Loose]
- LR [
Loose]
- RF [
Loose]
- RR [
Loose].
6. Examine the twin tubes for leaks, freedom of movement and elasticity (twin tubes easily retract into the
TDS cover plate).
7. If there are leaks, shorten the twin tubes (page 8-4).
8. If there is not sufficient freedom of movement, or the elasticity is not sufficient, replace a twin tube (page
8-1).
9. Select:
- LF [
Fixed]
- LR [
Fixed]
- RF [
Fixed]
- RR [
Fixed].
10. Select
- Tab [
Test]
- [Robot arm]
- [
Home]
- [
Move robotarm].
11. Wait until the robot arm is in the home position.
12. Put the milking robot in operation with the X-link (page 6-3).
13. Start a short rinse (X-link) (page 6-15).
