5 INSTALLATION
5.1 Introduction
The installation process of the concentrate feeder has the following
phases:
• Prepare the installation.
• Install the concentrate feeder.
• Connect the concentrate feeder.
• Setup the software.
The network and power supply cables must not be installed next to each
other to prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI).
5.2 Preparation
5.2.1 List of Supplied Parts
The concentrate feeder package must contain the parts listed below.
Make sure all these items are present before you start the installation. If
items are missing, contact your local Lely service provider.
• 1× Feed unit with one feed hopper.
• 1× Control box.
• 1× Cardboard box with small parts.
• 2× Pipe with open T-clamps.
• 2× Side fence.
• 1× Front portal.
• 1× Rear portal.
• 2x M-box parts.
• 1x Cylinder bracket frame side.
• 1x Cylinder mount M-box side.
• 1x Pneumatic cylinder assembly (incl. magnets).
• 4x clamp.
• Pneumatic tubes.
• 1 - 3× Additional feed hopper(s) with parts for installation (optional).
• 2× Pipe (for transport only).
• 1× EWA transformer (Qwes leg models only).
• 1× Floor antenna mat (Qwes leg models only).
