7 TEST AND ADJUSTMENT
7.1 Introduction
This chapter contains the following test and adjustment procedures for
the concentrate feeder:
• Set the network settings (see page 7-1).
• Make basic software settings (see page 7-3).
• Test the operation of the concentrate feeder (see page 7-5).
• Adjust the floor antenna signals (Qwes ISO leg models only) (see page
7-7).
• Adjust the detection distance of the photocell (see page 7-9).
• Adjustments in the T4C software (see page 7-12).
• Adjustments with the service interface (see page 7-13).
7.2 Connect or Remove the E-Link Manual Controller
Block the cow traffic to the concentrate feeder before you do
this procedure.
Connect
1. Loosen the cap until you can remove it from the connector on the
control unit box.
2. Connect the connector of the E-Link Manual Controller to the
connector on the control box.
3. Fully turn the ring on the connector.
Removal
1. Loosen the ring until you can remove the connector of the E-Link
Manual Controller.
2. Install the cap on the connector on the control box.
7.3 Set the Network Settings
7.3.1 Set Defaults
Block the cow traffic to the concentrate feeder before you do
this procedure.
Use the E-Link manual controller for this procedure.
1. In the main menu, select ‘NetworkSettings’ and push button [
].
2. Select ‘Set defaults’ and push button [
].
