6. If the concentrate feeder has two or more feed types:
1. Select 'Valve 2' and push button [
].
2. Make sure the dosing unit gives the correct feed type.
7. If the concentrate feeder has three or more feed types:
1. Select 'Valve 3' and push button [
].
2. Make sure the dosing unit gives the correct feed type.
8. If the concentrate feeder has four feed types:
1. Select 'Valve 4' and push button [
].
2. Make sure the dosing unit gives the correct feed type.
9. If one or more dosing units do not give the correct food type, assign
the correct feed type to the dosing unit (see page 7-12).
7.5.5 Test the M-Box
Block the cow traffic to the concentrate feeder before you do
this procedure.
Make sure the concentrate feeder closes slower than it opens (2 bar
close, 4 bar open)
Use the E-Link manual controller for this procedure.
1. In the main menu select ‘Testing’ and push button [
].
2. Select ’mbox testing’ and push button [
].
3. Push soft button [Open] to open the M-box.
4. Make sure the M-box stops moving when the magnet approaches the
M-box up sensor and the E-Link displays status ‘1’ for open.
5. If the M-box does not stop at the correct point, adjust the sensor
position.
6. Push soft button [Close] to close the M-box.
7. Make sure the M-box stops moving when the magnet approaches the
M-box down sensor and the E-Link displays status ‘0’ for close.
8. If the M-box does not stop at the correct point, adjust the sensor
position.
