4 DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
4.1 Introduction
The concentrate feeder has the following main parts:
• Frame and fencing.
• Feed hopper(s) (1-4) for concentrates.
• Feed bin.
• Control box.
• Cow identification reader.
The concentrate feeder is installed in the barn.
The concentrate feeder is connected to the T4C network.
The concentrate feeder gets input from and sends output to the T4C farm
management software.
The following figures show the main components of the concentrate
feeder with Qwes ISO, Qwes IR, Qwes LD and Qwes ISO LD identification.
