7-4 TEST AND ADJUSTMENT
Use the E-Link manual controller for this procedure.
1. In the main menu of the E-Link, select ‘Settings’ and push button [
].
2. Select 'Photocell active' and push button[
].
3. Use the buttons [ ] or [ ] to change the value.
4. Push button [OK] to confirm. After a few seconds you return to the
menu 'Settings'.
7.4.5 Calibrate the Valves
Block the cow traffic to the concentrate feeder before you do
this procedure.
Use the E-Link manual controller for this procedure.
1. In the main menu, select 'Setup' and push button [
].
2. Select 'Calibrate Valves' and push button [
].
3. Select 'Valve' and push button [
].
4. Push the buttons [ ] or [ ] to select the number of the dosing
unit and push button[
].
5. Select 'Portions' and push button [
].
6. Push the buttons [ ] or [ ] to select 10 feed portions.
7. Push button [
] to confirm.
8. Push button [START]. The valve opens and closes to dose each of the
10 feed portions. The software counts down the amount of feed
portions.
9. Use a balance to weigh the feed.
10. Calculate the portion size (total weight/10).
11. Set the correct portion size .
7.4.6 Set the Portion Size

1. In the main menu of the E-Link, select ‘Settings’ and push button [
].
2. In the menu 'Settings' select 'Portion size1', 'Portion size2', 'Portion
size3' or 'Portion size4' and push button [
].
3. Use soft buttons [<] or [>] to select the position you want to change.
