7.2Lubrication
- PTO shaft to be greased every 8 working hours by the
grease nipples on the cross assemblies, protection tubes,
the wide angle clutch and the free wheel clutch (fig. 18).
- Profiled tubes of the PTO shaft to be greased every 8
working hours (fig. 18).
- Grease the PTO shaft above the drive element every 500
working hours (or yearly) in way of the grease nipples on
the cross assemblies. Remove the three bolts from the hood
A (fig. 19) as well as the sealing plate (B).
Remove ground and/or crop, if any, from the hat.
- Grease the bearing blocks of the intermediate shaft in the
drawbar every 8 working hours (A, fig. 20).
- Grease the bearing blocks of t he conditioner rotor every 8
working hours (B, fig. 20).
- Grease the pivot point (C, fig. 20) of the drawbar every 40
working hours.
- Grease the pivot point (D, fig. 20) of the headstock every
40 working hours.
- Grease the pivot point (E, fig. 20) of the wheel supports
every 40 working hours.
- Grease or lubricate all remaining pivot points every 40
working hours.
