E OPTIONAL EXTRAS
Skids
Skids fitted underneath the cutter bar ensure that the
SPLENDIMO mower follows the ground contours more
easily. Due to the streamlined shape of the skids, the mower
does not dig into the ground in case of unevenness while at
the same time soil is prevented from building up underneath
the discs. In addition to this, the skids make sure that the
ground pressure is distributed more evenly across the width
of the cutter bar.
Wear plates
To avoid excessive wear and tear of the skids as a result of
abrasion, the SPLENDIMO mower can be equipped with
wear plates that are fitted underneath the skids.
These wear plates can be replaced easily and at low cost.
They come in a thickness of 4 or 8 mm.
Topping skids
By fitting so-called ‘topping skids’ underneath the skids, the
cutter bar of the SPLENDIMO mower is enabled to mow
somewhat higher above field level in rough conditions. In
that case, the mowing height also increases by approx. 7 cm
so that the knives do not dig into the ground. This may be
important when mowing fallow lands or in nature landscapes.
The turf is spared because the knives do not dig into the
ground. The cutter bar, too, is spared since it is not hit by
stones, branches etc..
V belt pulley for 900 or 1,000 r.p.m. of
conditioner rotor
As standard, the conditioner rotor of the SPLENDIMO pC
has a speed of 900 or 1,000 r.p.m. To be able to ensure a
different rotor speed, another pulley can be made available so
that the conditioner rotor speed can be adjusted to the
prevailing circumstances (less intensive conditioning or
improved crop transport when having to deal with heavy
crops).
Tyres
A choice of 2 tyre specs can be made for the SPLENDIMO
PC mower: 10.0/75-15.3 or 15.0/55-17. This choice makes it
possible to adjust your machine tyre size to the prevailing
ground conditions.
