Stopping Procedure
TO
STOP
WINDROWER
:
A
WARNING:
Do
ro
move
variable
speed
lever rapidly back to
neutral
. Operator
may
be
thrown
forward
by
sudden
stop.
1.
To
slow
down
and
stop
the windrower,
SLOWLY return the variable speed lever
(A)
to
neutral.

WARNING:
Do
ro

park
brake
to
slowwindrowerdovm..

reaction
which could
cause
personal
injury
as
well
as
damage to the
brake
mechanism.
2. Turn steering wheel until it locks.
3. Move throttle lever (8)
to
low
idle position.
NOTE: Avoid unnecessary idling.
Stop
engine if
it
will
be
idling
for
longer than 5 minutes.
4. Disengage header drive clutch (D)
to
stop
header drives.
5. Engage park brake
(E)
if machine is
to
remain
stopped.
A
CAUTION
:
Parle
machine
on
flat
levet
ground
only.
Keep
park
brake
property
adjusted
at all
times.

TO
STOP
ENGINE:
A
CAUTION:
Be
sure
windrower
is safety
parked
on
a
flat,
levet
surface,
header
on
the
ground
and
the
park
brake
engaged.
IMPORTANT
: Before stopping engine, run
at
low
idle for approximately five minutes
to
cool
hot
engine parts (and allow turbocharger, if applicable,
to
slow
down
with oil pressure).
1. Turn key counter-clockwise
to
OFF position
(red marker).
IMPORTANT
:
Do
not leave key in "ON" position,
hour meter will keep running.
