5.5 Standstill-time
When making contact with the work piece, the probe bounces for a
short time and the measuring value oscillates accordingly. The
measuring value can only be accepted when it is stable.
Thus a suitable time constant - the die-down time - needs to be
selected. The standard die-down time is 1 second. The operator can
decide whether another die-down time (0.5; 1; 2; 4 s) is required.
Standard setting: Standstill-time 1 s
– Press the function key „Standstill-time“
– Select the standstill-time
– Confirm by pressing the „Accept“ key
5.3 Acoustic signal tone
The signal tone can be quiet / loud / off
Standard setting: Loud
– Press the function key „Acoustic signal“
– Select the acoustic signal
– Tone quiet
– Tone loud
– Tone off
– Confirm by pressing the „Accept“ key
5.4 Contacting speed
Standard setting: Speed 8 mm/s
– Press the function key „Contacting speed“
– Select the contacting speed mm / second
– Confirm by pressing the „Accept“ key
