• Enter the desired values in the Primary DNS and Secondary DNS fields.
• Click Confirm to save the change.
A dialog box pops up to prompt that settings will take effect after a reboot.
• Click OK to reboot the IP phone.
To configure DHCP via phone user interface:
• Press Menu->Settings->Advanced Settings (password: 1234)->Network->WAN Port and press the
Enter soft key.
• Press to select IPv4 and press the Enter soft key.
• Press or to highlight the DHCP IP Client field.
• Press the Save soft key to save the change.
• Reboot the IP phone to apply the changes.
Configuring Network Parameters Manually
If DHCP is disabled or IP phones cannot obtain network parameters from the DHCP server, you need to configure
them manually. The following parameters should be configured for IP phones to establish network connectivity:
• IP Address
• Subnet Mask
• Default Gateway
• Primary DNS
