  If all functions on your McNeilus Front End Loaders are not working, check the following: 1. Ensure the BATTERY switch is ON. 2. Ensure the IGNITION switch is ON. 3. Make sure all E-STOP buttons are released. 4. Verify the PUMP switch is ON. 5. Confirm the side door is CLOSED. 6. Wait for the chassis air system to build pressure above 80 psi if the system air pressure is too low. 7. If the problem persists, it may require shop service and repair.

Why is the joystick function not working on my McNeilus Contender?

  The joystick function might not work on your McNeilus Front End Loaders due to several reasons: 1. The engine rpm is too HIGH. Reduce engine speed to below 1600 rpm. 2. The pack/eject is not in HOME position. Manually retract pack/eject to the HOME position. 3. The top door is not fully OPEN. Fully open the top door. 4. The system air pressure is too LOW. Wait for the chassis air system to build pressure above 80 psi. 5. If none of these solve the issue, there may be a system problem requiring shop service and repair.
