4.4.7.4 Draining the Water Tank
WARNING
Never allow the water from the tank to drain
onto a public sidewalk or roadway. Water
may cause the sidewalk or roadway to
become slippery. Always drain the water
system at a location designated by the job
site manager or in compliance with your
company policy.
Failure to comply may result in serious
personal injury or death.
WARNING
Do not drink the water.
Serious internal injury may result.
CAUTION
Be sure to drain the water tank, hoses, and
pipes when operating in temperatures below
freezing.
Failure to drain the system may cause
damage to equipment.
When operating in temperatures below freezing, the water
system must be drained after every use.
1. Depressurize the water tank.
2. Open the tank drain valve (Figure 41, Item 1) and allow
the water to drain. When water is drained, close the drain
valve.
