Operation
2.2.1 Refuse Vehicle Button Functions
Refuse vehicle functions, lights, some accessories, and
options are operated by the buttons on the control box (Figure
14). Accessories and options vary depending on your model.

1 PUMP Button
Press to activate hydraulic functions.
The indicator light above the button
will be green when the pump is on.
Press again to disable hydraulic
functions.

TAILGATE
CLOSE Button
Press and hold button to close the
tailgate. You must also press and
hold the ACTIVATE button while
holding the TAILGATE CLOSE
button. The indicator light above the
button will be green when the tailgate
is fully closed.

TAILGATE
OPEN Button
Press and hold button to open the
tailgate. You must also press and
hold the ACTIVATE button while
holding the TAILGATE OPEN button.

ACTIVATE
Button
Press and hold the button to enable
the tailgate functions.

TOP DOOR
OPEN Button
Press and hold the button to open
the top door. The indicator light
above the button will be green when
the top door is fully open.

TOP DOOR
CLOSE Button
Press and hold the button to close
the top door. The indicator light
above the button will be ashing red
when the top door is fully closed.

AUTOPACK /
EJECT Button
Press this button to start the
autopack.

RETRACT
Button
Press this button to retract the pack/
eject to the HOME position.

EXTEND
Button
Press this button to extend the pack/
eject. Pressing the button will stop
the auto pack mode if active.
10
ARM OVER
BODY
OVERRIDE
Button
Press and hold to override the
interlock to operate the pack/eject
when arms are above the body.
11
REMOTE
Button
Press the button to enable the
outside control box. The indicator
light above the button will be green.
Press the button again to disable the
outside control box. The indicator
light above the button will turn off.
