2.2 BASIC DEVICE INFORMATION
2.2.1 Starting Information Screen
Once you have logged into the iNET Management System, you will be
presented with a screen that provides an overview of the iNET unit and
its current operating condition. It provides an array of vital information
on the unit and its operating condition.

Device Mode—Current operating mode of the unit as it
relates to the iNET network.
Device Name—This is a user-defined parameter that will
appear in the heading of all pages.
(To change it, see Network Conguration Menu on Page 28.)
Network Name—The name of the iNET 900 network in
which the unit is associated.
IP Address—Units’s IP address.
Device Status—Condition of iNET unit’s association with
an Access Point.
At the Access Point:
Alarmed—A alarming event has been logged and not
cleared.
Operational—Unit operating normally and associated with
at least one Remote unit.
At a Remote:
Scanning—The unit is looking for an Access Point beacon
signal.
Exp(ecting) Sync(hronization)The unit has found a valid
beacon signal for its network.
Hop SyncThe unit has changed its frequency hopping pat-
tern to match that of the Access Point.
Associated —This unit has successfully synchronized and
associated with an Access Point.
