b.Comments can be of any length, but must be on the same
line as the parameter, or on a new line that begins with a
semicolon character.
c.Comments after parameters included in files exported from
an iNET 900 unit do not need to be present in your cus-
tomized files.
The number of blank spaces between the field name (left col-
umn) and the parameter value is not important.
2.11 OPERATING PARAMETERS
DEFAULTS
The MDS iNET 900 can be monitored and configured through its
embedded management system as detailed elsewhere in this manual.
Below is a flowchart of the primary menu items of this system. The fol-
lowing pages will provide details on the defaults and range of acceptable
values. Note that a few menu items are only displayed when the iNET
unit is operating in the Access Point or Remote mode, and some will
require an Authorization Key.
