Serial-to-Serial Mode

Enable—Enable/Disable COM serial data port.
Mode—Select Serial-to-Serial or IP-to-Serial.
Data Baud Rate—Data rate for the COM2 port.
1,200–115,200 bps
Flow Control—Hardware handshaking between iNET
and connected device. (Enable/Disable)
Send to Address—Destination (IP Address) for data
received through the serial port. (For an AP used in
point-to-multipoint service with the serial-to-serial mode
enabled, the
Send to Address should be a multicast address.)
Send to Port—Logical port for data received through the
local serial port at the destination IP address.
Receive on Port—Receive IP data only on this logical
port and pass it through to the connected serial device.
Receive on Address—All IP multicast packets will be
received for this address. For a remote in serial-to-serial
mode this should match the AP’s multicast “send to” address.
Seamless Mode— If data buffering is Enabled, the radio
will operate in seamless mode. Data bytes will be sent over
the air as quickly as possible, but the receiver will buffer the
data until enough bytes have arrived to cover worst case gaps
in transmission. The delay introduced by data buffering may
