HYDRAULIC PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT
H YDRAULIC P RESSURE A DJUSTMENT
Do not operate pump with relief valve cap removed. Fluid will emit under
pressure.
Relief and counterbalance valves should be checked during routine
maintenance to ensure proper machine. It is necessary to remove the hex-
head relief valve cap from the relief valve if adjustment is needed. Replace
the caps before operating the machine.

• Before attempting to check or adjust pressure relief valves, operate the machine for 15 min-
utes or long enough to sufficiently warm the hydraulic fluid.
• Insert a 0-5000 psi gauge into gauge adapter fitting at Port GP of the Functions Manifold.
