Whenthespeedlimitinformationfunctionor
intelligentspeedassistfunctionisenabled,andthefront
viewcameradetectsaspeedlimitsignwithtextmessage
below,thewarninglampilluminatesyellowtoremind
thedrivertorecognisethetextmessagebythemselves.
Thecameracannotrecognisethetextmessagesprovided
belowthespeedlimitsign,suchasauxiliarylane,100mls
ahead,schoolsection,7:00-10:00.Thecamerawill
recognisethespeedlimitsignwithtextmessagesasa
normalspeedlimitsign.Thedriverisrequiredtomake
correctjudgementaccordingtothetextmessage.
Whenthemanualspeedassistfunctionis
enabled,thesystemindicatorlampintheinstrumentpack
illuminatesyellow.Whenthefunctionisactivatedby
pressingtheSETbuttonontheadaptivecruisecontrol
lever ,thesystemindicatorlampilluminatesgreen.Ifthe
actualspeedexceedsthemaximumvaluethatcanbe
set,thesystemwillremaininthestandbystate,andthe
indicatorlampremainsyellow.Ifthemanualspeedassist
functiondetectsafaultorfailure,theindicatorlampwill
ashyellowthenextinguish.Pleasetrytorestartthis
function.Ifthisfunctioncannotbeturnedon,please
contactanMGAuthorisedRepairer .

“NNN”isdisplayedas“—”.Movetheadaptivecruise
controlleverupanddowntoadjustthetargetspeedlimit
value.The“NNN”willnowshowtheadjustedspeedlimit
value.
Thedrivercandirectlyswitchoff,ortemporarilysuspend
thespeedassistsystembycarryoutthefollowingactions:
1T otemporarilyexceedthespeedlimit(overtaking
manoeuvre),presstheacceleratorpedalhard.The
indicatorlampintheinstrumentpackilluminates
green,andthespeedlimitvalueashes.
2GentlypresstheSETbuttonontheendofthe
adaptivecruisecontrollever,theindicatorlampinthe
