Thelanedeparturepreventionsystemusesthefront
viewcameratodetectthelanelinesaheadofthevehicle.
Thesystemwilloperatewhenthefollowingdetection
conditionsaremet:
ThefunctionisswitchedON.
Vehiclespeedisabove37mph.
Lanelinemarkingsareclear.
Aslongasthesystemrecognisesatleastonelaneline
theindicatorlampintheinstrumentpackwillilluminate
green.Whenawheelisabouttocrossthelaneline,
orhasalreadycrossedtheline,thesystemwillprovide
assistancetothedriverbykeepingthevehicleinbetween
thelanelinesbyapplyingcorrectivesteeringintervention
andsimultaneouslydisplayingaprompt.Thefunctionwill
automaticallyexitwhenthevehiclespeeddropsbelow
33mph.
Incasesoftwoormoreconsecutiveinterventionswithin
anaccumulatedintervalof180secondsandintheabsence
ofdetectinganysteeringinputbythedriverduringthe
intervention,anacousticwarningissoundedduringthe
secondintervention,andanyfurtherinterventionswithin
the180seconds.Ifthereisneedfor ,andstartingwith
thethirdintervention,theacousticalarmwarningwill
continuelongerthanthepreviouswarningsignal.The
lanedeparturepreventionfunctionwillexitafterve
interventionsintheabsenceofasteeringinputbythe
driverbeingdetectedduringtheinterventions.
Lanedeparturepreventionsystemsetting
Theoperatinginterfaceforthelanedepartureprevention
systemislocatedintheinfotainmentdisplay.Enterthe
vehiclesettinginterfacetolocatethedrivingassistoption,
scrollacrossthepagetondthesettinginterfaceforthe
laneassistsystem:
1T ouchthecorrespondingbuttonintheinfotainment
displaytoturnthelaneassistsystemON/OFF .Select
departureassistintheassistmodetoswitchthelane
departurepreventionsystemON.Thesystemdefaults
tothelastselectedstatefromwhentheSTART/STOP
SwitchwasON/READY.
2T ouchthecorrespondingbuttonintheinfotainment
displaytoturntheaudiblealertON/OFF .Thesystem
defaultstothelastselectedstatefromwhenthe
START/STOPSwitchwasON/READY .
