mustbeabletodetectlanelinesonbothsidesofthe
vehicle.

TheMGPilotsystemwillbeimpairedinthe

•Thesystemdetectsthatthedriverhasnotmovedthe
steeringwheelforapresettimeperiod.
•Duringsysteminterventionthesteeringwheelisbeing
manipulatedbythedriver.
•ThetechnicalrequirementsforMGPilotsystemarenot
met.
•Thefrontviewcameraisobstructedoritisimpossible
forthecameratodetectthelanelineaheaddueto
weatherandenvironmentalfactors.
•Thelanelineistoothin,damaged,orfuzzy.
•Thevehicleisdrivenonthebendwithasmallcurvature
radius.
•Thewidthoftheroadistoonarrowortoowide.
•Thevehicleisdrivenonaroadsectionwithoutlane
lines.
•Thevehiclehasjustenteredaroadsectionwithlane
lines.
•Thevehiclechangeslanes.
•ThevehicleisnotinD.
•Thevehicleswayslaterallytoofast.
•Thevehiclespeedisbelow33mph,orabove111mph.
•Theanti-lockbrakesystem(ABS)andthedynamic
stabilitycontrolsystem(SCS)areactivated.
•Faultsexistintheanti-lockbrakesystem(ABS),dynamic
stabilitycontrolsystem(SCS),electricpowersteering
system(EPS),etc.
ItisrecommendedtoturnofftheMGPilotsysteminthe
followingsituations:
•Drivinginasportsstyleormanner .
•Drivinginbadweatherconditions.
•Drivingonroughorpoorroadsurfaces.
•Drivingthroughroadworksorconstructionsites.
•Drivingthroughcomplicatedroadsections(suchas
urbansitesandintersections).
•Drivingonsteepofexcessivelywindingroadsinlow
visibility.
