TheoperatinginterfacefortheMGPilotsystemislocated
intheinfotainmentdisplay.Enterthevehiclesetting
interfacetolocatethedrivingassistoption,scrollacross
thepagetondthesettinginterfacefortheMGPilot
system.Thedrivermayselecttoturniton/off.T ouse
theMGPilotsystem,theadaptivecruisecontrolsystem
mustbeturnedonatthesametime.Whenthefunction
isturnedoff,themessagecentreintheinstrumentpack
willdisplaythecorrespondingprompt.
T urntheadaptivecruisecontrollevelto“RESUME”twice
willswitchtheMGPilotsystemfromstandbytoactive
state.
WhentheMGPilotfunctionisenabled,the
indicatorlampilluminatesyellow.Whenthefunctionis
active,theindicatorlampilluminatesgreen.Whenthe
functionisdisabled,thesystemindicatorlampextinguishes.
IftheMGPilotsystemdetectsafaultorfailure,the
indicatorlampwillashyellowfor90s,andthenremain
on.
T echnicalrequirementsforusingMGPilot
system:
•Theadaptivecruisecontrolsystemmustbeactivated.
•TheMGPilotsystemmustbeswitchedonviathe
correspondingbuttonintheinfotainmentsystem.
•Ifthevehiclespeedisbelow37mph,thesystemmust
beabletodetectlanelinesonbothsidesofthevehicle
oratargetvehicledirectlyahead.
