Removingtarspots
Usewhitespirittoremovetarspotsandstubborngrease
stainsfromthepaintwork.Thenwashtheareaimmediately
withsoapywatertoremovealltracesofthespirit.
PolishingthePaintwork
DONOTusecarpolishcontainingcoarse
abrasives–thesewillremovethepaintlm
anddamagetheglossnish.
Occasionallytreatthepaintsurfacewithanapprovedpolish
containingthefollowingproperties:
•Verymildabrasivestoremovesurfacecontamination
withoutremovingordamagingthepaint.
•Fillingcompoundsthatwillllscratchesandreduce
theirvisibility.
•Waxtoprovideaprotectivecoatingbetweenthepaint
andtheelements.
Note:Ifpossible,avoidapplyingpolishorwax
productstowindowglassandrubberseals.
WiperBlades
Washinwarmsoapywater .DONOTusespiritorpetrol
basedcleaners.
WindowsandMirrors
Regularlycleanallwindows,insideandout,usingan
approvedglasscleaner .
Windscreen:Inparticular,cleantheoutsideofthescreen
withglasscleanerafterwashingthecarwithwashandwax
products,andbeforettingnewwiperblades.
Rearscreen:Cleantheinsidewithasoftcloth,usinga
sidetosidemotiontoavoiddamagingtheheatingelements.
DONOTscrapeoruseabrasivecleaners–thiswilldamage
theheatingelements.
Rearviewmirrors:Washwithsoapywater.DONOTuse
abrasivecleaningcompoundsormetalscraper.
