Resistance (R) and Conductance (G)
The resistance is a measure of the difficulty to pass an electric current through
that conductor. The SI unit of resistance is the “ohm” (Ω). The inverse quantity is
electrical conductance, and this is the ease with which an electric current
passes through a circuit. The SI unit of conductance is measured in Siemens (S)
and it the reciprocal of the resistance (G=1/R).
