Air Valve
Location / Function
During the Fill Mode...
Line voltage is supplied to the air valve. is causes the valve to open so
that water can ow into the chamber.
During the Heat-Up Mode...
When the Heat-Up Mode begins, the PC board stops the current ow to
the air valve. is allows the valve to close. e PC board opens the air
valve three times during the Heat-Up Mode to release air from the chamber
(this prevents vacuum-eect).
During the Sterilization / Vent / Dry Modes...
ere is no current ow to the air valve. e valve is closed.
