Fill / Vent Valve
Location / Function
Fill Valve
During the Fill Mode...
Voltage is supplied to the ll valve. is causes the valve to open, allowing
water to ow into the chamber.
When the water in the chamber contacts the water level sensor, the PC
board stops the current ow to the ll valve. is allows the valve to close,
stopping the ow of water into the chamber.
During the Heat-Up / Sterilization / Vent / Dry Modes...
ere is no current ow to the ll valve. e valve is closed.
Vent Valve
During the Fill / Heat-Up / Sterilization Modes...
Voltage is supplied to the vent valve. is causes the valve to close so that
pressure can build in the chamber.
During the Vent Mode...
e PC board stops the current ow to the vent valve. is allows the valve
to open, releasing steam / pressure from the chamber.
During the Dry Mode...
ere is no current ow to the vent valve. e valve is open.
