Heating Element
Location / Function
During the Fill / Vent Modes...
ere is no current ow to the heating element.
e heating element is OFF.
During the Heat-Up Mode...
Line voltage is continually supplied to the heating element. e heating
element heats the water in the chamber until sterilization temperature is
achieved.
During the Sterilization Mode...
Based on the readings from the temperature and pressure sensors, the heat-
ing element is cycled ON / OFF to maintain the required parameters for the
selected cycle.
During the Dry Mode...
Line voltage is supplied to the heating element at pre-set intervals to turn it
ON / OFF. is continues for the duration of the Dry Mode.
