Each standard Gear Guardian
®
formula is described in tabular form in this document. Formulas
are made up of steps, which are programmed through a series of decisions. In the formula tables
in this manual, each step decision is represented by a column, and each step is described by one
row of the table.
Part of a typical formula chart is shown in Table 7 below, and a brief description of each step de-
cision follows the table. For more complete explanations of each decision, see Section 2.3.3 :
How to Add or Change a Formula (Option 1), page 21 .
