(1) Turn on the knob of fixing the needle and separate the needle from the needle-guided bracket.
(2) Turn on the knob of fixing guiding block and remove the guiding block from the hole of installing
guiding block.
(3) Turn on the knob of fixing needle-guided bracket and remove the needle-guided bracket.
NGB-053/NGB-054
(1) Hold the transducer. Press the biopsy needle pressure position to separate the biopsy needle from
the pressure position. Separate the bracket and the transducer from the needle.
(2) Rotate the locking nuts of the needle guided-bracket at the right and left sides (following the direction
of the arrow). The needle guided-bracket is separate from the transducer. Hold the transducer and
take out the bracket.
13.2.8 Clean and Sterilize the Needle-guided Bracket
Needle-guided brackets whose name starts with NGB are reusable, and need thorough cleaning and
sterilization before and after each biopsy.
Cleaning
Follow the cleaning instructions in the manual.
1 Wear a pair of gloves to prevent infection.
2 After use, immerse the needle-guided bracket in distilled water immediately to prevent dirt from
drying. Wipe the entire surface of the needle-guided bracket by using a piece of disposable lint-free
soft cloth to remove coarse dirt.
